DESIGN NAME: We Transforming
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Circular Economy Exhibition
INSPIRATION: The design of exhibition is inspired by the concept of circular, which refers to no-waste, utilization of existing resources, and application of innovative solution.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Sharing the same sky and the same ocean, Taiwan is also moving towards the future in tandem with the world. This exhibition design is a journey of perpetual transformation, from a linear economy past, thru a transforming present, to a sustainable future defined by visitors.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The visitor goes through the entrance of dark space with stripe LED lights and reaches to the blue wall space with white wavy ceiling area. Afterwards, the main exhibition content starts to describe the issues of world sustainability. The main contents are divided into 7 themes zones, Food, Product life cycle, New business model, Fabric, Architecture, Infrastructure, and Sustainable Lifestyle.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in May 2022 in Taipei, Taiwan, and finished in September in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Main structure is composed by Infinity Shelf system, which makes this exhibition design as nearly 90 percent recyclable. All the display material and fabrics are to have their second life after this exhibition.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: This exhibition design challenges the circular design by reducing the waste after the exhibition, utilizing recycled materials, and creating social impact by education general public with sustainable lifestyle.
CHALLENGE: This exhibition challenges design and build method of temporary exhibition, which commonly produce large amount of demolished trash after the exhibition. Therefore, the material and construction methods are chosen carefully to have second life after the end of the exhibition.
