| DESIGN NAME: Fushan Ecological PRIMARY FUNCTION: Greenway Design INSPIRATION: The structure form is inspired by the “pinecones” that can be seen everywhere on the Fushan Mountain.The original intention of the scheme is to hope that the structure can blend into the nature, just like growing in the mountain forest. The fallen pinecones carrying pine seeds also imply rebirth and hope. The shape of each floor of the structure is twisted from the hexagon, and each floor gradually decreases upward, forming a highly rational and vivid image. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The site is located in the south of Fushan Moutain with a difference in altitude of 21 meters. This structure aims to create a place for people to visit, rest and pass while connecting the two ends of the footpath, and create a landmark location for the entire footpath. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: And set up two paths to satisfy different people. The steps of the inner ring are suitable for fast pass, and the ramps of the outer ring are suitable for strolling and sightseeing. The two paths converge on the viewing platform at the top, where people can enjoy a wonderful 360-degree visual experience. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project has been designed in July 2022. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The project is concrete foundation, and the main structure is steel grid structure. The main supporting structure is formed through the inner and outer steel grid cylinders; The system of footpath and step is formed through steel structure. The footpath cantilevered from the outer steel grid is suspended from the inner cylinder node of the steel grid with cables. The surface layer is made of anti-corrosion wood or environment-friendly imitation wood, forming the main form of the footpath. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: - TAGS: Pinecone, Greenway, Path, Natural Reserve, Public Space, Resort RESEARCH ABSTRACT: - CHALLENGE: The project is located in the only remaining ecological green space in the city center.That this structure is not only an upgrade of image and facilities, but also the establishment of interaction between people and nature, people and the city. People should not be rude interference with nature, but should pay more attention, care and respect to nature. It is hoped that the design will gradually affect, influence and change the public's understanding of nature and even life.
