| DESIGN NAME: Zoo Animals PRIMARY FUNCTION: Toy INSPIRATION: How can children create what they visualize and have in their minds? The purpose of designing this different toy is to help children to create their imaginations and what they visualize from their simple and childlike world. Children have always particularly loved simple and elementary toys precisely because their imaginations can turn them into just anything. In their world, people, animals, birds, etc. are visualized in a simple way. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Sometimes, we see the objects around us similar to the shape of different creatures. Children can create their own images of animals with objects around them such as stones. This collection includes 10 animals, the parts of which include different legs and horns, which indicate different animals (the shape of the legs is the same and the horns are different). OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Making animals is very simple and has no special instructions. Objects around us, like stones, can be considered as animal bodies, and by connecting the horns and legs, the desired animal is easily created. The legs and horns have a clamp-like shape due to their semicircular shape and can be attached to the body with a little pressure. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in September 2022 and end in November 2022 in Esfarayen City . FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Toys, Games and Hobby Products Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Injection Molding – HDPE. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The sizes are different. The diameter of the circles is 4 cm. TAGS: zoo, toy, design, animal toy RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Research was done on children's favorite toys and also studies were done on various articles related to children's interests. It can be concluded that part of children's interests is creating what they visualize and creating imaginations can give them pleasure and excitement. With this set, they can make animals with different objects. CHALLENGE: The most challenging part of this project was how to connect the horns and legs to the pieces (such as stones or similar objects). The horns and legs had to be connected in the simplest possible way without any complexity, while still being sturdy enough.
