| DESIGN NAME: Reflex PRIMARY FUNCTION: Pendant Lamp INSPIRATION: The inspiration was the methods of investigating introspective psychology, which helped make the inner world of many people more harmonious and conscious. Using these methods, we studied how a person feels different shapes and properties of a light object. We used them at every stage of the project development, and they created a lamp with characteristics that are as close as possible to a person. It was made in a way for him to like it for many years and thereby we could limit consumption for the benefit of the environment. The name of the lamp is associated with reflection. This concept is very close to introspective psychology and means understanding and analyzing the inner world of a person. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Thanks to research based on introspective psychology, each element and properties of the lamp are created under the influence of the focus group. For example, first we chose the shape of the object and it turned out that the shape of the circle is very close for everyone, as a symbol of the sun. Then we ask to choose the type of lighting through associations. It turned out that people like the reprinted light in the forest. Therefore, we made an asymmetric construction with these properties. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The lamp can be used for main and point lighting in space - above the desk or instead of wall bracket by the bed, or create compositions from several lamps using in a variety of spaces. The height is adjustable. The lamp is easy to use, and due to the vertical shape, dust does not accumulate. The lampshade is removable for cleaning. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in April 2022 in Moscow and finished in August 2022 in Moscow, and was exhibited in Interlight Russia 2022 in September 2022. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The main structure in the form of a circle dissected in the middle is made of natural fabric with important properties: it is translucent to create soft lighting. At the same time, it is reflective to create reprinted lighting. Inside the lamp is a metal ball with two light sources. Inside are LEDs covered with glass diffusers. Metal pipe in the form of smooth lines is combined with round structures of the lamp. The ceiling bowl with magnetic fasteners is devoid of visual noise in the form of fasteners and bolts.
