| DESIGN NAME: The Forest of Life PRIMARY FUNCTION: Commercial INSPIRATION: To adapt to the new trends and requirements of civilization, mankind must fundamentally solve the power problems of civilization and realize the safe, stable, clean, and sustainable use of energy. This quote is from the book Intelligent Energy The Year of Us. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The client of this project is a smart energy company, and the client hopes that this exhibition hall can showcase its corporate culture, smart energy technology, and corporate achievements so that visitors can understand the importance of a green environment and energy sustainability through participation in the exhibition. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: After the design team fully understood the mission, responsibility, and cultural background of the company, they proposed an idea that when the clean energy of the city is maximized, the city where people live and the native forest will be able to enjoy each other and prosper. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The company uses smart energy to improve the efficiency of urban energy use, and it adopts technology to create a green and healthy urban living experience. Also, it provides inexhaustible and sustainable power for the people in the city. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The project is about 406 square meters TAGS: Interior, Design, Office, Modern, Style RESEARCH ABSTRACT: In the interior space, it combines high technology and primeval forest, presenting it in an artistic way to create an immersive experience. In addition, As visitors follow the path through the park, they will enjoy the corporate stories and technology displays while experiencing the natural scenery of spring, summer, autumn, and winter. CHALLENGE: Besides, water rippled stainless steel panels are laid on the ceiling and combined with ripple like curves to guide visitors. The moss, simulated plants, deer, and polar bears are decorated in the space to perfectly show the appearance of nature. The forest pattern is spray painted on acrylic sheets, and multiple acrylic sheets are stacked on top of each other, combined with the lighting, to create the impression of being in the forest. NAME: Serendipper PROFILE: After graduation, she worked at Japan YKK Corporation and then moved to AURORA Group in Taiwan in 2001. Dong Lei started her business in 2003 and formed an indissoluble bond with design. She established SERENDIPPER in 2003, the first furniture factory in 2004, the second furniture factory in 2016, and the accessories factory in 2018. On the path to entrepreneurship, she has realized a model of coexistence between management and design. |
