PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Fire Testing Equipment

INSPIRATION:
The combination of environment and equipment of experiment increases the stability of experimental data, but most manufacturers only consider fire testing equipment itself. The equipment requires many flammable and explosive gases and a large number of cables and pipelines. It is also necessary to take the purification and emission of toxic and harmful gases into consideration.

UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Fire testing equipment series are equipment used to test the combustion characteristics of materials. They can conduct combustion experimental testing of construction materials, lithium batteries, bundled cables, buses, high-speed trains, etc., analyze combustion data, support data for new material development, standardize production activities, and also help reduce the occurrence of fire accidents in the world.

OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
The modular design enables the function of the operation panel replaceable. In order to expand the experimental function of the equipment, the layout of the function buttons and observation function keys on the operation panel is in line with ergonomics and experimental operation habits. The optimized design of the visible window opening method of the fume hood reduces the space occupied when the door is open and provides convenience for experimental operations.

PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION:
The project was designed in Shenzhen in September 2020. The design was completed in May 2022. It was processed and produced in Suzhou in September 2022.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY:
Stainless steel, aluminum profile, copper pipe. It helps reduce fire accidents across the world by conducting combustion experiments on various materials (building materials, lithium batteries, bundle cables, buses, high-speed trains, etc.), analyzing combustion data, providing data support for new material research and development and regulating productive activities.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
According to the customized needs of different customer groups, the design combines the unchanged basic form with changeable modular operation panel, so as to maintain the brand unity in the appearance and meet the customized needs of different customers in terms of function. The transformation of small batch of customized demand into mass production and processing products will save production cost and improve resource utilization.

CHALLENGE:
The combination of environment and equipment of experiment increases the stability of experimental data, but most manufacturers only consider fire testing equipment itself. The equipment requires many flammable and explosive gases and a large number of cables and pipelines. It is also necessary to take the purification and emission of toxic and harmful gases into consideration. We combined lab environment and equipment functions in the design, which makes the equipment more in line with the layout and planning of the lab. It guarantees lab's safety and data's accuracy.
