PRIMARY FUNCTION: Micro Transportation Mean
INSPIRATION: The micromobility sector is expanding, and it is hard to ignore the risks that this industry faces.
Poor infrastructure, a high chance of a technological failure, sliding or falling. Scooters are extremely dangerous and cause numerous accidents today due to their low-tech technology in comparison to road cars. This harms the reputation of the sector, which is illogical considering that micromobility is ecologically friendly, good to society, and will be extensively utilized in the near future.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: By merging the automotive industry into its design, REEV Cruiser scooter functions like a smart car. ABS, anti-collision radar, trip loggers for speed recommendation, hybrid dual brake systems, fire detection systems, automotive chassis design, auto turn signals, in-app parent control, and many other features, enable maximum safety. The user may change light themes, detect and prevent theft, identify a computer or mechanical problem, and operate Bluetooth-enabled devices using a phone app.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: REEV Cruiser provides the greatest technology possible on the market. The rider can be safer thanks to features like anti-collision radar, trip loggers that suggest the best speed, ABS, hybrid dual brake systems, fire detection systems, automotive chassis design, auto turn signals, in-app parent control, anti-theft system, unlike any electric scooters currently on the market. The phone app enables our users to be completely aware of their scooter, almost as if it were a living being.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in February 2021 in Yehud and finished in December 2022 in Yehud, Israel

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: We had to develop a Robust, long-lasting design that appear futuristic from any angle, yet would be inexpensive to manufacture - That's why we chose tin folding. We combine the design, technical and electronic components to make sure that they could function in the presence of shaking, stumbling and under heavy rain. We have created 8 functional prototypes since 2021. We developed a console that serves as the scooter's brain, and makes the scooter completely operated through a phone app.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: As a transportation designer, I had to ask my self - How can I re invent such a core product to distinguish out from the competitors while preserving its functionality?
The design idea and manufacturing methods required careful consideration. To produce a lightweight, affordable, durable, and aesthetically beautiful product, I based mydesign on tin folds. It allowed me to find REEV's true distinctive design DNA, whichspeaks the same language as its powerful and high-tech scooter capabilities.
CHALLENGE: The Hardest part was to insure a durable structure, uncompromising product design and all the tech solutions we wanted to have, under an affordable price tag. The more we developed our product - the more it got expensive. We truly wanted to bring a safe' strong and beautiful product to market - so we found the best solutions to our question's trough production technics. We hope to make our product available at any home, and put the highest standard of safety when it comes to micromobility.
