PRIMARY FUNCTION: Down Jacket
INSPIRATION: 1. With the heat back theory of spacesuit insulation layer thermal fabric, it reflects heat energy of the body and reduces heat loss, thus improving warming performance.
2. The silk with porous structure and low thermal conductivity plays the role of heating the far infrared rays, which can lock in still air, store insulating gases, and reduce heat loss through special processing technic, while absorbing the far infrared rays emitted by the human body and returning them to the human body.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: A children down jacket that is warm, comfortable and suitable for snow and ice sports, with the spacesuit heat back theory, achieves warming effects from both heat radiation and heat conduction through innovatively combining the heat back metal layer with the cenosphere heat lock technology. In addition, the pattern design on the heat back layer, protective glasses and the backable coat effectively ensure the breathability, safety and comfort of children when wearing it.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Protective glasses protect against wind while avoiding strong light reflection of snow to protect eyes.
The backable design makes it easy to carry, helping to quickly switch between wearing and taking off outdoors and indoors.
The detachable left front pocket with shoulder straps can be transformed into an separate messenger bag.
The right sleeve imitates the space window to satisfy cosmic curiosity of children.
The reflective seal on the right front chest increases fun and safety.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: It was designed and developed in Xiamen, Fujian in 2022, and listed in China in October 2022.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: 1. The fabric surface of the product is covered with a metal aluminum heat back layer, which achieves the effect of heat gathering by reflecting the heat radiation emitted by the body to reduce heat loss caused by body radiation. And materials with different refractive indices are added to the reflective film to achieve personalized customization, creating a colorful appearance.
2. The nano-silk powder cenosphere layer expands when heated, which can lock in still air and reduce heat loss.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Research shows that keeping children warm cannot be guaranteed during exercise since the teenage market lacks professional technology equipment for snow and ice sports, thus leading to youth being injured or lower exercise capacity in snow and ice sports. The product applies the heat back theory of spacesuit insulation layer thermal fabric to clothing design, aiming to solve the problem of warming for children in ice and snow sports and ensure their professional sports performance.
CHALLENGE: The heat back metal layer, nano-silk powder cenosphere and special printing process effectively reflect the body heat, lock in temperature, and maintain good breathability. Compared with the previous generation, the overall thermal performance of the product has been improved by 20 percent - heat back irradiation temperature by 10.6 percent, the infrared heating of aerospace technology silk powder by 2.9 degrees Celsius, and the breathability by 3.5 times.
