INSPIRATION: The population of WUGU district is growing rapidly, but there is no market in the area.
Citizens must go to other areas to solve their daily purchasing problems. In order to improve the quality of life and convenience of citizens, the first floor of the idle three-dimensional parking lot will be renovated into a modern market, breaking the concept of traditional market, solving problems and also driving economic activity.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Different from the morning business and complex environment of traditional markets, decided to create a new modern market to enhance the shopping experience of consumers.
Import the hardware equipment of store specifications, treat the pavement and sewage system, partition the raw and cooked industries, and provide corresponding equipment, overturn the stereotype and pattern of the traditional market, and lead people of different ages into a modern but humane market.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Vendors in the market cover different industries ,emphasizing one-stop shopping experience.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: This project is finished in May 2022 in New Taipei, Taiwan.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The stalls use the raw and cooked separation mode to optimize business management. The fresh area introduces refrigerated display cabinets and divides the low-temperature meat processing area to provide a clean environment for processing raw food, while reducing the deterioration caused during transportation and display, so that the food can be delivered to consumers in the freshest condition; the cooked food area is set the electrostatic oil fume system reduces oil fume pollution and purifies the air inside the market.

CHALLENGE: The design incorporates WUGU local specialties: green bamboo shoots and bamboo.
The natural color cement floor is used to bring the image of green bamboo shoots; the wood grain color and line grille create the feeling of bamboo forest, and the famous natural landscape of the region is added to the logo design.
Taking into account the characteristics of market use, the ground is made of non-slip tiles, and modern hardware equipment is introduced to create a safe and hygienic environment.
