DESIGN NAME:
Zhuojiu
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Liquor Packaging
INSPIRATION:
The inspiration of the wine bottle shape comes from the "axe" that represents power, so use "power" as the design idea to express the spirit of Chinese Liquor Drinking. The appearance of the bottle is reminiscent of an axe. The box is made of wood with a crack split by the axe, thus expressing the fiery taste of the Chinese Liquor with rigidity and destructive power.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
"Zhuo (Drinking)", whose original meaning is to pour and drink wine, is from the poem " Drinking Alone under the Moon" by the ancient Chinese poet Li Bai. Therefore, from the perspective of strength, concretized the thoughts and feelings of the image by skillfully integrating " hard" and "soft" into the axe and mountains and trees, so that people can imagine the flavor of this Chinese Liquor when they see this packaging of ethereal beauty at a glance.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
This project is designed and manufactured in China. The design, all detailed specifications and mass production of the product were completed within 12 months in China.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION:
The project will be started in Shenzhen in March 2022, completed in August 2022, and exhibited in Shenzhen in August 2022.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY:
Product composition: The container is made of glass. The outer packaging is cut from raw wood. No printing process is used on boxes and bottles and the main product names are engraved with charcoal.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES:
The box is 300mm high, 180mm long and 120mm wide. The bottle is 180 mm high

RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
This project is based on the environmental protection concept of no process and no pollution. In this way, reuse the waste wood blocks and the products can be reused as ornament later.
CHALLENGE:
In the early stage of this product, we had difficulty assembling waste wood into boxes. Later, this problem was solved by reaching an agreement with the wood factory.
