| DESIGN NAME: Slow Wool Collection PRIMARY FUNCTION: Eco Design Furniture INSPIRATION: The startup Slowli Concept was founded in Italy in 2020. Since then, it produces furniture and accessories like the Slow Wool Collection in collaboration with local manufactories, social workshops and independent artists and designers. With every one of these interior pieces made in real handwork from local raw materials, it aims to bring conscious deceleration and mindfulness into a home. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Slow Wool Collection brings mindfulness and conscious deceleration into your own four walls with sustainable and natural favorite pieces. Exclusively 100% natural sheep's wool from South Tyrolean shepherds are used, which is processed to wool blankets and pillows in small local partner manufactories in the highest quality. Fair conditions for the environment and producers, a traditional processing "back to the roots" and a timeless, minimalist design mean slow living in the philosophy of the young company. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: To live more consciously and more slowly, to reflect on the simple things... that's is the startup's philosophy of slow living. This new spirit has been developing for a number of years, but especially in these days and age it develops further and further. So by today, it has also arrived in the interior sector. And Slow Wool Collection - a concept for mindfulness, deceleration and sustainability in our homes - is based precisely on this philosophy of life. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: By sourcing sheep's wool from the region, agriculture and local farmers and shepherds are supported. Fair prices for the shepherds themselves and for our partner manufactures are paid in order to support fair working conditions. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The Slow Wool Collection packaging is fully recyclable, plus boxes in the store for shipping are reused.
