DESIGN NAME: Forest Evening
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential
INSPIRATION: By analyzing the original needs of users who sought to draw the distance between space and the natural environment, a plan was devised to use sensory effects to solve this issue. First, large-area windows were utilized to visually increase the visual connection with the outdoors. Then, natural materials such as real leather, wood grain, stone grain, and others were employed to enhance the user's sense of touch and smell in order to achieve the effect of exposure to an outdoor experience.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The villa project is situated amidst a tranquil forest, and the client has expressed a desire to establish a strong connection with the surrounding natural environment. In order to achieve this, the design incorporates the technique of "borrowed scenery", whereby the outside view is seamlessly integrated into the interior space through the use of expansive windows. The selection of natural materials such as leather and wood grain imbues the space with an organic feel, further enhancing the users' sense of immersion in nature. To cater to the refined lifestyle of its occupants, the space has been thoughtfully equipped with customized cabinets and decorative modules, providing ample storage and meeting the demands of their sophisticated tastes.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: After the customer purchases the product, professionals will come to measure and make customized products, and provide professional door-to-door installation services. After installation, the user can easily use the product through simple opening and closing or placing actions, which is barrier-free.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in March 2022 in Guangzhou and finished in July 2022 in Guangzhou.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The main material of the product is the panel wood and leather veneer of customized home furnishing, and the industry-leading pressing and cutting process is adopted to ensure the production efficiency and appearance quality of the product.
Stone and metal materials are used as the functional support and decorative embellishment of the product. The product uses the design language of "custom cabinet" to ensure the stability and adaptability of the use of multiple materials, and to ensure the uniformity of the style of the home space.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The products adopt customized production methods, which are assembled from modular single products. The flat and small-volume packaging is convenient for disassembly and transportation, which meets the needs of large-scale production and cost control, and is conducive to reducing waste of resources and environmental damage. The height of the product is 2780MM, and the width and depth of the product are customized according to the size of the space.

CHALLENGE: First of all, in the design of cabinet and wall panel, it is difficult to perfectly combine three-dimensional leather and panel wood, and it is easy to produce burrs or bulges. Finally, the leather materials of different textures are innovatively fused together by using metal closing.
Secondly, in the space design, the connection of the main body such as wall panels, cabinets, and ceilings is very difficult, and the current effect has been achieved through a lot of testing and adjustment.
