| DESIGN NAME: Social Corporate PRIMARY FUNCTION: Office Lobby INSPIRATION: After the special year 2022 stayathome period in China, people all noted the importance of the nature, green and face to face interaction etc. Therefore designer proposed the theme Social Corporate for the lobby of office building. Office is not only the space for working, it should also be the place for idea exchanges. Designer would propose more relax and cozy office lobby where people would like to stay and enjoy. It also improved the work efficiently. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Social Corporate is a office lobby at Ningbo, China. Plants, fresh air and nature are all common elements during this special 2022 stayathome period. Actually, we all need green and relax environment during our every working days. Lobby area is not only for passing through, designer proposed the area to stay and enjoy. Therefore there are artworks, books shelves, cozy seating areas in the space. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: As the office lobby, traffic flow is very important. Designer left the clear circulation from the entrance to the lift lobby. At the entrance area, 6 meter high ceiling was specially provided in order to have better first impression to all passengers. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Marbles, Mirror stainless steel, Timber, Wave form plastic laminate etc SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Around 450 square meter. TAGS: #Lobby, #interior, #interior design, #forte, #hotkoncepts, #martinchow RESEARCH ABSTRACT: As it is the office lobby, designer worked closely with the client about the function of the space. Designer would like to propose the space is not only a transitional space, it should be user friendly area where people like to stay, chat or read during free time. Designer spend much time to research the similar projects and explained to the cleints. CHALLENGE: As the office lobby is quite big, around 450 square meter. Designer would like to provide a cozy and "work efficiently" space. Other then the main circulation, exhibition gallery, library and resting areas are also cleverly allocated.
