| DESIGN NAME: Mushroom Coffee PRIMARY FUNCTION: Food Packaging INSPIRATION: Station Market provides tailored mushroom coffee products according to different ages and needs. Mushroom has a lot of functions that can elevate your brain and focus, boost your energy with less caffeine, and supplement your daily nutrition. I extracted the mushroom ingredients in coffee, abstractly distorted the extracted colors and shapes, and finally took the form of illustrations as the main visual image of the coffee packaging. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Different from regular coffee which can attribute to anxiety and insomnia, the addition of mushrooms has more health benefits. The customer chooses Station Market because they can gain nutrients and knowledge of mushroom coffee while having an amazing taste. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: In the early stage of design, I analyzed the ingredients of the products, the nutrition, and the functions of the mushroom coffee, and researched the difference between regular coffee and mushroom coffee. In the design process, the whole design has experienced from the graphic to 3D, from the visual to the physical. It is also a cross-platform design project, from packaging to web and to Coffee shop design. The concept is to let customers understand the culture of mushroom coffee and experience the production journey of the coffee factory while enjoying the highly nutritious mushroom coffee. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The cross-platform design process is exciting. From digital to physical, from packaging to web design, and to coffee campaign design. This interesting and educational experience is not only for me but also for all customers. I express the high-grade and silky taste of this mushroom coffee through abstract illustrations and delicate packaging. Customers gain nutrients and knowledge of mushroom coffee, and enjoy the mushroom coffee factory experience while having an amazing taste. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Dimensions: Length: 5in, Width: 3in, Height:6.5in TAGS: Packaging, Food, Natural, Healthy RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Analysis of coffee markets includes competitive brands, target customers of the mushroom coffee industry, the demand for coffee in different age groups, the nutrition of mushroom coffee, and the research on the ingredients of mushroom coffee. This project was designed after a lot of research and analysis and the questionnaire survey. CHALLENGE: The coffee industry is a highly competitive market, and different groups of people lack knowledge of mushroom coffee, they have different demands for product function, taste, and appearance. Before making this packaging, I spent a lot of time researching the function of mushroom coffee, I want to show the difference between mushroom coffee through exquisite packaging, and also convey the knowledge of mushroom coffee through illustrations.
