| DESIGN NAME: Cosmic Man PRIMARY FUNCTION: Toy INSPIRATION: Inspired by human ambition for infinite existence, the shape of the Cosmic Man is a symbol of humans expanding territory into space. In the time dimension, humans pursue eternal life and use technology to parasitize their consciousness on artificial intelligence. The mechanical brain of the Cosmic Man represents AI and eternal consciousness, and the body is the interface between eternal consciousness and infinite space. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Cosmic Man is a collectible toy with a retro-futuristic design. The classic color contrast brings a retro sense of luxury and evokes the memories and feelings of the times. The armor gives an impression of being strong and impact resistant. Mechanical elements interpret rich stories. The retro technological texture of the decorative lights collides with the punk culture of the belt, exuding a unique charm. The fit design of the space suit comes from an upgrade iteration of technology. The mechanical brain is the core of AI, carrying the human exploring spirit. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: A base is a charging unit. Place the Cosmic Man on the bottom to charge the decorative light. The arms and hands can flexibly rotate and change postures. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Featuring the idea of sustainable design, it is entirely digital R&D, a simplified design, hollowing out the internal structure to significantly reduce the material consumption and product weight. CHALLENGE: The product structure has high requirements for fineness and details. However, increasing the fineness will increase the consumables and damage rate. Therefore, the research challenge is balancing energy efficiency and minimizing consumables and weight without sacrificing quality.
