| DESIGN NAME: Peace of Mind PRIMARY FUNCTION: Office INSPIRATION: The core of this office space is illuminated by artistic expression of comfort, texture and modest luxury. The method of deriving simplicity from complexity has embodied cultures of thinking and styles from different eras into the design. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This 300 square meters working space locates on the 2nd floor provides a fresh and tranquil getaway in the hustle and bustle, allow one to express life. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Large floor-to-ceiling windows on the front of the building and the greenery of the park are united and invited in as a part of the design. Pine trees are grown on the sides; just by opening the windows, one can appreciate the pleasant greenery and the cheerful chirping of warbling white-eye in tree branches that relieves and slows the fast-paced life. Elements of texture and color are ingeniously combined to create a space that conforms to nature and help find a place for tranquility in busy life. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: This project was started in April 2020 and finished in May 2021 in Taichung, Taiwan. FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Interior Space and Exhibition Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The overall space uses gentle wooden tone as the basic color and incorporates textures of the materials to set off elegance of the space. Clear glass and wooden partition are used in replacement of walls, which allow abundant sunshine into the interior and change of seasons also brings in a tranquil and charming mood to the space. One can find peace of mind in this harmonious and distraction-free space while at work. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 300 ㎡ TAGS: - RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The site features greenery surroundings, therefore, frames of seasons are presented in the space; seeing trees break buds and fresh leaves on branches is like appreciating a refined landscape painting which also resonates an enjoyable and luxurious lifestyle of this unique space.
