| DESIGN NAME: Carefree and Leisurely Lifestyle PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential INSPIRATION: The project involves a standalone house with a history of over 2 decades. The design team was responsible for the design and planning of the first two floors of the building. The owners wanted open space, a large kitchen, a large master bedroom, ample dressing room facilities, and an open master bathroom with a bathtub. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The manifestation of space, through the interpretation of life and emotion, begins to take concrete shape, and through the design of the nature, including space and humanities, the real context of home is revealed on the outside. The light color tone of the space is a metaphor for the dynamic aesthetics of the building and the urban taste to be compatible with the urban environment. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The whole room, from the facade structure, color presentation, and combination of different materials, releases the open visual effect of the public space, embraces and creates the elegant and warm scenery of the space, and at the same time, according to the actual needs in different spaces, offers various functions while ensuring the continuity of form, and at the same time, enjoys the possibility of life constructing new aesthetic possibilities due to variations of visual experience. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Woodwork, Stucco, Melamine Board, Calcium Silicate Board, Slate SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The project is 165 square meter. TAGS: Light Color Tone, Dynamic Aesthetics, Urban Taste, Stone, Steel And Glass RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The light color tone of the space is a metaphor for the dynamic aesthetics of the building and the urban taste to be compatible with the urban environment. The entrance foyer is interpreted through stone, steel and glass, eliminating the problem of looking straight into the living room. The ceiling of the main living area is applied with cavetto molding to highlight the warmth of life and the need for relaxation, faithfully presenting a carefree and leisurely attitude. The dining room concept integrates a bar and an open kitchen, replacing the traditional definition of the attributes of the area, and in relation to the openness of the main living area, natural light is allowed in to reflect the warm expression of the materials, making the whole space area appear open and inviting. The overall combination of simple, natural materials, the temporal changes of natural light and atmosphere confidently encapsulates the space, retaining a lot of open space, following the open relationship, releasing the accumulated stress in an urban environment, and exuding a sense of relaxation. On the second floor, a study area is planned for the male property owner, which also becomes the main area for working at home in the post-epidemic era. The bookcase design cleverly incorporates dual functions of display and storage to enrich the expression and needs of the space. The master bedroom area is equipped with a dressing room, which inherits the stylish, modern, and elegant design of the public space, and utilizes light materials to create a sense of quality and elegance. Through the layers of indirect light sources, the space expresses a leisurely ambience. The dressing room is designed in accordance with the property owner's living needs from open space to shelves and drawers, and is tailored to the space through detailed design...The bathroom space is modeled after the facilities and functions of a star-rated hotel, and the bath and shower are cleverly arranged to provide a relaxing, leisurely, and stress-free mood... CHALLENGE: At the beginning of the design process, the team considered the serious water leakage problem of the house, and firstly, the layout of the whole room on the 1st and 2nd floor was readjusted, and the leakage was resolved through the use of professional equipment, and the waterproofing of the exterior wall was strengthened. Through the strengthening of the foundation and the re-planning of the waterproofing works, the layout and function were re-adjusted, and the concept and resonance of the future ideal residence in the mind of the property owners was transformed into a sensible and aesthetic space.
