| DESIGN NAME: Xianyan PRIMARY FUNCTION: Packaging INSPIRATION: The packaging product is a kind of supplement that China has respected since ancient times. In order to reflect the characteristics of the product, the design concept combines swiftlet and Chinese elements. The main pattern is concentrated, and the surrounding areas are given corresponding blank treatment; The elements are deconstructed and integrated, and the overall picture presents an oriental classical aesthetic artistic conception with a sense of modern design art. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This is a bird's nest product in a high-end gift box. The design properly reflects the user's consumption experience of gift-giving, so that users are pleasantly surprised when they get the product. The first layer is designed with the outline of the swallow and hollowed out, and the swallow formed by the second layer of color blocks integrates the elements of the origin and forms a unique texture. The two together form a virtual and real design effect, which is unique among similar projects. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The packaging adopts a pull-out opening method; the first layer of packaging is an envelope design with an empty bottom, while the second layer of packaging is an inner box, which is equipped with a handle rope to facilitate the extraction of the inner box from the bottom of the envelope. The opening method of the inner box is a flip type. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in Shenzhen in April 2021 and completed in Shenzhen in April 2022. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The packaging material is special paper, which is environmentally friendly and reusable. Hollowing, bronzing process and two-layer structure processing of packaging are more creative and quality in visual experience, and the logo is interpreted with three-dimensional metal plate as the medium. CHALLENGE: In order to ensure the integrity of the picture, the hollow edge of the first layer of the envelope needs to be precisely aligned with the edge of the inner box pattern of the second layer, and at the same time does not affect the bronzing part on the envelope, debug according to the printing sample, and finally achieve a perfect state.
