PRIMARY FUNCTION:
White Wine Packaging

INSPIRATION:
The hourglass symbol represents the passage of time to remind people to cherish time and life, and the hourglass shape can make alcohol flow slowly; the scale on the auxiliary bottle reminds drinkers to enjoy alcohol properly, cherish time, reflect on the bad results of indulgence, and cherish health. There is no better container for reminding people to drink responsibly than the hourglass, and most importantly, it is a real, three-dimensional hourglass that is more impressive.

UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
This is a white wine packaging that advocates people's healthy drinking. It uses "hourglass"; as a container and advocates the product concept of "healthy drinking and cherishing time". The bottle is supplemented with a scale (ml) to remind everyone of the emotional changes caused by drinking to a certain extent. With the design of two layers of transparent glass, the simple shape of the first layer makes it possible to see the transparent hourglass container of the second layer.

OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
When using the product, the shape of the hourglass of the wine bottle allows the alcohol to flow slowly in the bottle, and the palm of your hand can perceive the ongoing pouring behavior by touching the scale on the wine bottle. In order to shorten the waiting time for pouring wine, the user will subconsciously control the amount of alcohol poured into the wine glass, so as to limit drinking.

PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION:
The project started in Shenzhen in March 2020 and was completed in Shenzhen in September 2020.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY:
The entrusted factory uses 3D printing technology to make samples and feedback the implementation details. After confirmation, custom development molds. The outer packaging is made of transparent PVC, the text is printed in spot color, and the logo and product name are made of embossed, frosted silver, and light silver. The white wine is designed with transparent double-layer glass. First, the model is injection-molded with acrylic, and then the real object is presented with glass.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT:

Therefore, it is hoped that through design, people can drink healthily, cherish life and pay attention to family. Therefore, the original intention of FLOW's design is to effectively help people to drink reasonably. Whether it is visually or from the scale marked on the bottle, it always reminds people not to drink too much, and the shape of the hourglass can make the alcohol flow slowly and make pouring wine. control.

CHALLENGE:
The original intention of the design is to creatively control drinking behavior, but this may be different from the sales appeal of commodities in the market, because people often like to use commodities conveniently, and this hourglass-type liquor is a reverse thinking, because on the surface it looks It may seem unfriendly, but in fact this product design that makes drinking in moderation is really concerned about people's health. It takes a little time and getting used to when users try to use it.
