| DESIGN NAME: Timeless PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residence INSPIRATION: A TIMELESS design is located in the financial district of Taipei. It was intended to create a luxury apartment, which could be as open-plan as possible when needed and zoned when not. With 1490 sq ft of internal space she designed and installed bespoke full-height room divider doors to have the room divided when required and completely open plan when not. Three iconic cylindrical columns piercing each and every apartment are embraced and celebrated in Chu's interior design. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Designers believe the interior should always be in harmony with the architecture as a whole. The project is located in a residential skyscraper in the financial district of Taipei. How to respect and remain the natural lighting and the 3 iconic architectural columns to be the main feature of the interior are the core spirits throughout the overall design. Well known for building rich layering within the space in an elegant and ravishing way, designers transformed the idea deep into the architecture itself, OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The open-plan living room is the center connection of all spaces. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in 2018, was finished construction in 2020, located in one of the most beautiful residential high rises in Taipei. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Marble, Leather, Wood, Texture Glass, Paint, Metal SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Two bedroom apartment TAGS: Calm, Tactile, Cohesive, Engaging RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Bespoke furniture details and construction method was developed throughout the project. CHALLENGE: We created special furniture pieces and mirrors, art, and accessories for this project to bring its own uniqueness to the most.
