| DESIGN NAME: Qingdao Line 1 PRIMARY FUNCTION: Subway INSPIRATION: Studying the characteristics of Line 1 connecting Qingdao's century-old urbanization and industrialization development, integrating and reshaping many design elements of the space, boldly using gorgeous colors and poetic qualities The expression and abstract art techniques of Qingdao abstract the architecture of the century-old Qingdao, the memory of industrial development, the four seasons of the city, waves, rocks, flowers and other elements. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Qingdao Metro Line 1 as the main artery of a city's public transportation, the theme of "Beautiful Qingdao" shows the city's spirit and Qingdao's cultural temperament, allowing passengers to enjoy public art as the cultural welfare of citizens, and is also an important symbol of the progress of a modern city's civilization. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Qingdao Metro Line 1 is the longest line in the planning of Qingdao Metro, connecting Chengyang District, the old city and the West Coast New District. It is a rare ultra-long line in China. Through the artistic interpretation process of overall design, color selection and matching, material process comparison, lighting art design, etc., the humanistic spirit, urban aesthetics and emotion of public art are carried everywhere, forming the distinctive characteristics of Line 1. The key stations and standard stations are clearly defined. From the dense functional facilities and many specialties, a design language system with clear context and mutual protection has been summarized and sorted out. Make it unified in the unique language system of Line 1.
