| DESIGN NAME: Medicapsule PRIMARY FUNCTION: Multiscenario Medical Test Kit INSPIRATION: It's a chaotic world where people are all struggling with dally lives and comproising their health. Medical test devices can help to monitor their health but multiple devices are usually in a clutter, sometimes hard to find and clean, and not portable. A smart watch with medical funtion is portable but it can't precisely test blood pressure,glucose and fat. People need a single pack of medical companion(one-stop solution) which is capable to monitor their health in indoor and outdoor scenes. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Medi-capsule is designed as one product, to deal with all the testing parameters in serveral daliy scenario. A watch module can be cliped onto a watch band for outdoor continuous monitoring of blood oxigen, pulse rate and others. And it be magnet snapped into different white testing module in the capsule to professionally test blood oxygen, blood pressure, electrocardio, temperature, blood glucose and fat. And all the data will be gathered into the watch module for smart analysis. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: A watch module can be cliped onto a band for continuous hours blood oxigen and pulse rate monitoring. And it can also be snapped into different white module to professional test. For checking history, the user just need to turn the outer ring of the watch module like a shuffle button. And when the user is back home, charge the watch by snapping it back to the capsule that connects the wire, and the capsule will sound prompt if there is a routine test alarm. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: This project starts from March,2022 in Changsha, Hunan, China. It's a brand new project and a brand new direction to explore a more compatible way to help people to examine theirselves routinely for the good of their health. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The interactive method of MediCapsule is based on magnet snapping and metal pin power/signal conducting technology, and for each testing module, like the blood oxygen and pressure test module is uilizing mature technology currently avaliable on the market. Overall it is not a design that needs to develop new technology, the value of it is to be the health companion and helps people in mulitple scenario to monitor their health. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The size of the capsule that contains every component is 230mm x 200mm x 60mm, the watch module is diameter 48mm x height 15mm TAGS: Self test, Medical test, Health monitoring, Modular test kit, multiscenario, self diagnosis RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Medical test devices can help to monitor their health but multiple devices are usually in a clutter, sometimes hard to find and clean, and not portable. A smart watch with medical funtion is portable but it can't precisely test blood pressure,glucose and fat. Based on this, the idea of MediCapsule is formed, to create a one-stop-solution, a single kit that contains almost every daliy testing and health monitoring needs of people. CHALLENGE: The chanllange of this concept is during the engineering part, when all the testing components and PCB mechanical parts mush fit into the corresponding test module and remain the light size of the whole capsule.
