DESIGN NAME: Motor 1
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Green Home Appliance and Tool Set
INSPIRATION: In many appliances and tools production processes, each product requires a motor, but the time of using the product is short, resulting in a waste of resources.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The motor is used as the core of a series of home appliances and power tools. The design of the motor can be quickly installed in different modules to reduce the number of motors needed for home appliances. It allows users to obtain different modules and install the motor core in various home appliances modules when required. It effectively solves the problem of overproduction to avoid waste.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Motor 1 uses the concept of changing magazines to design a modular motor that can be quickly installed, as well as a series of home appliances and garden tools, reducing the overproduction and long blank periods of use.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in November 2021 and finished in January 2022 in Taipei.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The Human factor design and the way to install the modules have been done in generation of prototypes.
CHALLENGE: During the design process, I met the challenge choosing specific home appliance and tool that have motor in it. Then end up decide the module by the using scenario and the size of the motor it using.
