| DESIGN NAME: Exploration 2 Pro PRIMARY FUNCTION: Safety Seats INSPIRATION: To keep children comfortable and safe when traveling, Exploration 2 Pro comes with multidimensional proactive safety designs, including multichannel alarms that will be triggered if children have not leave the seat timely with parents, the real time sitting posture detection, the voice and light feedback to keep parents informed about the conditions of children in driving, as well as the separate side impact protection system to avoid injuring the passenger aside in a car crash. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This safety car seat for children aged from 0 to 8 years features intelligent designs for security and comfort. It can detect sitting postures of children, give voice and light feedback, trigger multichannel alarms if children are left in the car, to safeguard children from the moment they sit down till leaving the seat. Both the temperature control system and the aspiration system for heat dissipation can work automatically, or be controlled by the APP and voice, to make children feel cosy. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Parents can heat and ventilate the seat remotely via the smart app before getting in the car, to make children feel cosy as soon as they are seated. Accordingly, children need not wear many layers, and thus avoid being thrown out of seats in a crash. The heating and ventilating systems also support voice control. Meanwhile, the extending breathing lamp visualizes ventilation and heating status through color changes, and will emit red flashes to prompt passers-by if children are left in the car. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The design and development of the safety seat started in Hangzhou, China, in September, 2020. It hit the Chinese market in October, 2022. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The one piece seat shell gains higher resistance to impacts in all directions by minimizing spliced pieces. The built-in intelligent temperature control system combines carbon nanotube heating and a double duct ventilating system, working automatically to keep the seat temperature in a suitable status. In terms of the backrest with closely spaced holes for heat absorbing, this function means that the seat can automatically absorb heat from the back to avoid exposing children to the cold wind. It will make voice alarm to alert parents if children leave the seat accidentally or the safety belt is unfastened during driving. It can also detect whether children leave the seat timely with parents. If not, the red flashes, notification push through the app and the customer service call will be triggered to guarantee the safety of children.
