PRIMARY FUNCTION: Water Pollution Monitoring
INSPIRATION: It offers input parameters regarding data acquisition and access to functions such as receiving notification when a measured water quality characteristic exceeds an applicable guideline. In sudden water pollution, the equipment can accurately detect the pollution sources, ranges, and time and immediately send an alarm notification. Minimize the harm and other adverse consequences caused by pollution incidents.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: A comprehensive real-time overview of water quality changes through a cloud-based service. The platform provides the data entry appears erroneous and gives advice and instructions for maintaining water quality. The user interface features virtual reality in 2D and 3D, augmented reality, and a precision mode. A simple and intuitive solution to visually appealing geometric patterns within a few seconds on a laptop without special design skills or technical knowledge.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Our internal team independently developed and designed the multi-band micro spectral sensor chips and spectral algorithms we have adopted. The sensor chips are one of the most miniature spectral sensors in the world that have entered mass production, which has a substantial leading advantage in spectral sensors.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in March 2019 in China and finished in May 2021 in China, and was exhibited in May 2021.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Users can filter data according to interval range, time, geographical location, crowd portrait, longitude, and latitude and easily customize data reports. There are also various presentation forms of calculation model reports through artificial intelligence, 2D or 3D graphs, data tables, and other formats. Intuitive presentation makes the number presentation clearer, more vivid, and more efficient.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Able to obtain real-time data remotely by combining our software and hardware technologies. This method can significantly reduce the labor cost of collecting and analyzing water samples and mitigate human factors' errors. In water pollution emergencies, relevant departments can immediately get first-hand warning information and take practical measures to virtually eliminate the severe impact of water pollution on the environment and social economy.
CHALLENGE: Our team independently developed and designed the multi-band micro spectral sensor chip we have adopted. The difficulty of spectral sensors lies in how to embed software algorithms with sensors. Such an analysis of spectral signals requires complicated algorithms for noise reduction, signal analysis, numerical analysis, and tremendous experimental data and models to obtain the most accurate measurement results. It is an intricate and time-consuming process requiring much scientific research, human resources, and material resources. Therefore, this is one of our critical technical barriers.
