| DESIGN NAME: Traveler PRIMARY FUNCTION: Child Safety Seat INSPIRATION: Our original intention of developing this product is to provide a comfortable and safe seat for the baby. The design of the cabin is inspired by the mother's womb, and we simulate the feeling of embracing, which can make the baby sleep more peacefully. We use isoFIX interface and support legs to install the seat. This design is inspired by the first three-point arrangement of the landing gear, which can greatly improve the stability of the seat. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This is a child safety seat used to protect the safety of children aged 0-12 in the car. This seat adopts injection molding process, high-quality foamed polypropylene and slow-rebound sponge as filling materials, which can effectively resist shock and relieve external impact. The innovation of this product is the use of hidden support legs, which can ensure the stability of the seat when opened, and can be folded well when not needed, without taking up space. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: To place the product on the car, first pull out the support leg and isoFIX interface, insert the interface into the back seat of the car, and then stretch the support leg until it securely touches the ground. In the process of vehicle driving, the five-point safety buckle must be locked. The reclining Angle of the seat and the height of the headrest can be adjusted according to the needs of the baby. The cockpit can also rotate 360 degrees, which is convenient for the baby to switch between front and back, and also for the baby to get on and off the car, and to interact with adults in the car. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project will be established in Jiangsu, China in February 2021, final sample confirmation will be completed in Jiangsu, China in August 2021, and sales on the platform will officially begin in September 2021 |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: We use full-body injection molding to create the seat shell, which improves the impact resistance of the seat and enables more delicate operations.Our material not only has strong shock resistance,but also environmentally friendly. For example, the polypropylene shell is completely non-toxic and tasteless. The foamed polypropylene filled with the material can be degraded naturally and has good flame retardancy, so combustion will not cause secondary pollution to the environment. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: This seat has passed the i-size certification test, which is very strict in all aspects. It has not only been upgraded in many aspects compared with the original ECE certification standard, but also limited the external dimensions of the seat. In order to make seats safer and to be certified, our seats must be designed as specified in the certification. At the same time, the shell uses the injection molding process to make it delicate and more compressive. CHALLENGE: The most creative aspect of this product development is the support leg.Unlike other seats with support legs on the market, the support legs of this seat can be folded and completely hidden under the seat, so that there is no bulge affecting the normal use of the seat, and when the child grows up, the support legs will not interfere with the child's legs.This technology is a test of the application of materials, as well as the grasp of the volume of the base and the support legs.
