| DESIGN NAME: Torino PRIMARY FUNCTION: Kitchen INSPIRATION: Often we begin to furnish the house starting from the kitchen: it influences the rest of the rooms with its style and materials, unconsciously it is she who binds us to many choices. Precisely for this reason we have created a minimal kitchen that knows how to adapt to every need, and at the same time chameleonic, able to change as the customer imagines it. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Clean lines, minimal design, maximum freedom in customization. The customer with Torino kitchen can realize his own desires choosing between not only several materials but also different kind of systems and technology. Thanks to dimmed led with adjustable tilt, top hidden socket, garbage disposal and completly customized sizes Torino Kitchen wants to satisfy all the client's requests. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The worktop is the most stressed material in the kitchen: it must resist heat, be waterproof, withstand possible impacts. The top in the photo was made with a stratified HPL, a material that is very resistant to both heat and impacts. It is also very easy to clean, does not retain dirt, and is not afraid of the most stubborn stains such as those of coffee or wine. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in November 2021 and finished in January 2022 in Shapes Italys Showroom based in Bergamo. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The choice of materials ranges from laminates to lacquered, from wood to Fenix, from Corian to laminated HPL: many materials for always new and different ideas. For this kitchen, a super matt anti-fingerprint and anti-scratch laminate was used: a very versatile and resistant material, which also helps to keep the kitchen clean. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Base Cabinets: 3200 mm x 600 mm x 900 mm Backsplash: 3200 mm x 12 mm x 600 mm Wall Cabinets: 3200 x 300 mm x 800 mm TAGS: kitchen, flexibility, resistance, customization, innovation, minimalism, technology RESEARCH ABSTRACT: "Turin is a city which entices a writer towards vigor, linearity, style. It encourages logic, and through logic it opens the way towards madness." Starting from a deep research about this unique Italian city, its enigmatic building, its strong flavors and its elegant colors was born Torino Kitchen. CHALLENGE: The hardware and the opening systems have been carefully chosen: the metal drawers with retractable guides and slow closing, the mechanisms for flap doors and folding doors, the doors with shockproof closure and the top hidden socket. Details that make the difference and enrich the everyday experience in the kitchen.
