RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The idea behind Krivina tables was to create simple yet clever design for bedroom. I came with the idea of shelf which could be hidden, so you can keep your private stuff not on eyes. Also, one of expected features was to have "work top" clean to underline a simple design of bedroom. There were a few other options of using different materials or shelf angles but at the end the simplicity won. The result is a relatively cheap and simple piece of furniture for modern bedrooms or living rooms.
CHALLENGE: The most difficult challenge was to make whole construction strong enough and at the same time to keep the slanting shelf visible. There were a few mock-ups made, with very difficult joinery details, but the simplicity won.
