| DESIGN NAME: Open Your Eyes PRIMARY FUNCTION: Art Photography INSPIRATION: As a photographer, it is essential to see and discover. The content of a good idea and a visual stylistic device is an important part of the photographer‘s work. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Michael Liebert was looking for a visual stylistic device which he finally found in a plastic wrap. The shape and materiality were created by wind and his resistance. The resulting figures, whether human or animal, depend on the viewers imagination. Similar to clouds in the sky. Imagination knows no limits. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The question "What do you see?" should be a stimulus for the viewers creativity and thats the job of a photographer. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started on an windy and very cold day in January 2022 in lower austria, and was finished digitaly one month later in Liebert's office in vienna, austria. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Artwork for an independent art project SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: These photos were taken with a high-resolution medium format camera with natural light without flashlight. TAGS: artwork, photography, art, environment, nature, imagination, view, visual, figures, shape RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Because of Liebert's curiosity for creative concepts, he enjoys working with advertising agencies, Creative & Art Directors. When composing the picture, however, one thing comes first for all the customers: the idea. CHALLENGE: For Liebert, a good photo needs a good idea first. Whether advertising campaign-, product-, landscape- or portraitphotos - before he presses the shutter button for the first time, the technical process is based on a creative concept. NAME: michael liebert photography PROFILE: Michael Liebert was born in Vienna, lives and works as a freelance advertising photographer in Lower Austria. Since his childhood, he felt a deep connection to photography and art. In the beginning it was movies and music videos that Liebert liked to be inspired by. In digital photography he has the opportunity to create worlds without visual limits. For him photography is more than his profession – it's his passion. This is confirmed by numerous national and international awards, as well as exhibitions in Austria and abroad. |
