| DESIGN NAME: Lura PRIMARY FUNCTION: Hand Blender Set INSPIRATION: In traditional blender designs, the construction of the gearbox inside the chamber cover complicates the construction of the chamber cover and makes it impossible to clean the chamber cover easily under water.Thanks to patented lid design on Lura Hand Blender, gearbox can be separated from lid easily with one click, and the lid can be washed through running water or even in dishwasher safely. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Lura Hand Blender Set allows you to easily perform your whisking, chopping and shredding tasks, thanks to its ergonomic ,practical and high end design features. Easy-to-grip handle and Easy Touch buttons make your work easier in the kitchen with dishwasher-safe accessories. Thanks to the patented gearbox design that can be separated from the chamber cover when necessary, the chamber cover can be washed under water when it becomes dirty. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Lura Hand Blender Set differentiates with its joystick like grip , button placed at the back ,speed adjustment on the top and detachable gear box. It's impossible to wash the lid of a traditional blender which have a built in gearbox system, but thanks to the patented design , the user can wash all the plastic parts when the gear box is detached. In most of the high end products, sheet metals are used in the main body of the blenders, which give a high end look but has no plus to the end user. The metal covering on the main body doubles the cost. We used hot foiling instead of sheet metal, which is much more cost effective and still has the same shiny look and strong feel. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The main bowl used in chopper and grating operations has a durable feeling and glass like effect at the same time. The wall thickness reaches up to 8 mm on the edges that gives more durability to the product and glassy feeling to the user. Also thanks to the pouring spout, the food that is shredded or grated in the bowl can be easily emptied after the operation is completed. Also , thanks to the greenery drying apparatus, the washed greens placed in the chamber can be purified from their water in seconds. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Gift box dimensions: 25 cm x 27 cm x 47cm TAGS: food processor, gear box, shredding, mixing, speed control RESEARCH ABSTRACT: In the development phase of Lura , hundreds of prototypes for gearbox system has been made and tested in the laboratories. As a result of those researches, the patented seperable gearbox feature, which allows the user to wash the cover completely , has been developed . After the researches in R&D department, all parts of the blender are designed so that they can be assembled -reassembled very quickly and with a minimum error rate. CHALLENGE: Lura Hand Blender Set stands out with its practical details. Easy-to-grip handle and Easy Touch buttons make your work easier in the kitchen with dishwasher-safe accessories. There is five stage speed adjustment button designed to be pressed with thumb finger and the on off button can be pressed with forefinger which gives a natural grip.We have to ensure that on off and speed adjustment button is placed on the most ergonomic spot that should be very easily operated but on the other hand it should not be operated by accident. It was a big challenge to meet the ergonomic needs with the safety standards. The final result is very satisfying both for the ergonomic and the aesthetic aspect.
