| DESIGN NAME: Alfa PRIMARY FUNCTION: Website INSPIRATION: Blockchain is a very rapidly developing field and it was incredibly interesting for ITmaestro team to work with it. This area is the future. UX/UI designer Alice K wanted to make a dark design using modern styles therefore applied glassmorphism and geometric fonts. Result: A dark interface has been designed, a horizontal scroll on the computer version of the design has become a feature, which you can hardly find anywhere else, and very unusual graphics combined with the minimalism of dark interfaces. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: ALFA is a leading crypto community. They inspire us every day. It is the innovation engine that helps and motivates us to achieve even higher goals. They are the first and largest in their niche and of course they want to stand out. Therefore, it was decided to create a site with a unique approach. Horizontal scrolling, incredible animation, modern typography. The color palette reflects mystery and modern technology well, bright neon spots add dynamics. The site is easy to understand due to the small amount of content and its proper placement. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The site has a one-page structure with horizontal scrolling and easy navigation. In total, there are 6 sections in the menu with a minimum of text description so as not to overload users. The founders of the ALFA community organized the first incubator in this industry. Providing information and financial support for the development of interesting projects in the field of blockchain. To participate - users can use the contact form to tell about their project and take part in the competition. Also, users can switch the language, get acquainted with the team and ask administration questions using the contact form. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in June 2021 in Kharkiv, Ukraine. Published on the web in September 2021. Update October 2021 - until now. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: UX/UI design: Adobe Xd, Figma; Image retouching: Adobe Photoshop; Development: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, SQL. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The site is designed to be fully responsive: 4k resolution, laptops, smartphones, tablets and other devices. Available in the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, iOS and Android. TAGS: UX, UI, Website, Web design, Interface, Responsive, Crypto, NFT, Blockchain, Alice K design RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The task was to develop a promo site for the largest blockchain community with an emphasis on the visual component and a minimum of text. 1. After the briefing of the client, similar sites and competitors were analyzed. Advantages and disadvantages are revealed. 2. After that, a wireframe and prototype of project were designed; 3. Alice K and ITmaestro team moved on to visual design, development and animations; 4. The site has been tested for usability on different types of users (and on different devices), as a result of which errors were found and eliminated (in order of priority) that made it difficult for users to achieve the goal. 5. Also: usability tests, system load, site loading speed, support for all popular devices and other important tests and studies are regularly conducted. CHALLENGE: ITmaestro team and Alice K analyzed competitors and popular sites. Based on benchmarking and experience, a unique style was developed that highlighted the project from the first moment of launch. One of the wishes of the client was to use very little text, so UX/UI design Alice K focused on working with graphics. To get the WOW effect, animations were developed, which took a lot of time.
