| DESIGN NAME: Menu2Go PRIMARY FUNCTION: Food Delivery Website INSPIRATION: What is for dinner? Whatever you fancy! Find all your favorite meals via the Menu2Go website, iPhone, or iPad app, and order in a few simple steps! Whenever you start to wonder about what to eat, just open the website: It has everything you want. Order your favorite pizza, sushi, salad, burger, or poke bowl and get it delivered to your doorstep. It is super simple. Choose from more than 6,500 local restaurants and popular chains (such as Subway, Pasibus, North Fish, and Da Grasso). UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The team created a fast and easy website for ordering food. This is a challenging task as there are established giants of this industry on the market to compete with. The main features that have been designed to make ordering food unique are ease of ordering, reorder button, favorite restaurants at the top of the list, a food tracker: see when the food will be delivered, safe payments: securely pay online via credit card, PayPal and more, a map view, pick up option, filters by reviews, distance, popularity, price, delivery cost, alphabetical, relevance, etc. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Structuring files and documents well for viewing, downloading, and sharing is not easy, especially in a mobile application. That is why we went through several stages of development which included research, mind-mapping, creating low-, & high-fidelity prototypes. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: Ukraine, Kyiv, the project began in January 2021 and continues. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: At the beginning of the design, we conducted brainstorming, mind mapping, scene interviews, etc. In the realization part of the project, we used Sketch, Invision, and Illustrator. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Available in the latest versions of Chome, Firefox, Safari, iOS, and Android TAGS: Food, website, app, delivery, UI, UX, device, interface, restaurant, responsive RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The team focused on the key features of this site. First of all, the market and competitors were researched to find the best solution that would work in the local market, convenient and functional. Based on the research a clean and simple site was created. A clear overview of opening hours, delivery charges, and minimum order value was created to help the user choose the food they liked and a flexible discount system was developed for both users and restaurants. CHALLENGE: The main task is to make a healthy competition with existing companies in the market. Create a platform that will be easy to use for both customers and representatives of the business and will be user-oriented. Introduce new functionality, technologies that simplify the work with the website, speed up the process of viewing, selecting food, creating, tracking, and picking up orders, customer feedback to the restaurant, which in turn increases the credit of trust.
