| DESIGN NAME: Mesapolis PRIMARY FUNCTION: Multifunctional Tops INSPIRATION: A sun that's still, and never sets Floating planes, a silent drum Mascarading as table sets Embedding secrets, and then some A skyline Of silhouettes That remind me of where I'm from UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project is an agglomeration of 9 multi-functional elements. most of them serve dual purposes, with a primary function as sides table tops. Other utilities vary per element, some hide sweets' urns and boxes, some support tray and plates, others offer displays or light up, some burn incenses. the overall design lines hint to old cities and mysterious archways I'm familiar with where I'm from. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Many of the elements double as a top, in addition to their dedicated function. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: - FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Furniture Design |
