| DESIGN NAME: Hope Garden PRIMARY FUNCTION: Ring INSPIRATION: Inspiration of this ring comes from Iranian gardens. architecture of these gardens has thousands of years of history. iranian gardens have symmetry in all of their components. streams divide these gardens in four, this creates four gardens. this feature is the main representative of iranian gardens. in these gardens the main part is placed in the center. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This design in its within holds this message that same as seasons changing difficulties in life are temporary too. pink color in Iran is the symbol of patience and hope. pink mother of pearls is used in the center of this ring and represents that by having hope and patience one can overcome issues. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: This model can be Produced by direct casting and can be produced as two pieces and then assemble PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: This project started in January, 2020 in Tehran and finish April 2020 in Tehran |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: This model is designed by computer aided design technology (CAD) software pieces such as Matrix and Rhino/VRaye . The clouds are silver covered with diamonds and the rest of the ring is rose gold. In the center part there are Pinctada and diamonds. There can be seen other gemstones such as sawarit, topaz and inside the ring vitreous art can be seen. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: middle gem is Diamond, the middle pink part is mother of pearl. the green gems are emerald and blue ones are topaz. In the center of this ring there is a wooden part. The Gold and silver parts are casted separately and then assembled. Width of the ring is 26.8 mm. height of the ring is 6.7 mm TAGS: Peace, Ring, Garden, Jewelry Design, gold, RESEARCH ABSTRACT: in old days iranians tried to recreate heaven on earth by building gardens. these gardens were called parties. in 247 BC., greece were affected by these gardens and that is how paradise word entered dictionaries CHALLENGE: Conveying the spiritual message that represents thousand years’ culture and art in a modern way was the only challenge.
