PRIMARY FUNCTION: Mobile Application
INSPIRATION: The legendary is designed to deliver smart, secure, yet sustain living experience where digital meets physical seamlessly to serve the needs of the homeowners and the project developer. Research on what potential customers want when they are looking to buy a new house identified they prefer housing projects that come with a single management platform for their smart living as well as inform them the sustain contributions that they could be proud of and able to share with others.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Legendary digital platform is a single smart, secure, and sustain residential management platform that allows homeowners and juristic person to access information and manage smart, secure, and sustain living all in one hand.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: It is a single smart and sustain residential management platform that integrates the digital and physical seamlessly; the users are not only able to control and manage smart things in their houses, but also aware of their contributions toward sustainability with their energy generation and consumption, water usage and sewage, and waste generation and separation as well as money their make from the better energy and waste management. They can securely share and collaborate with others to build a better society and community using the Legendary too.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The UX research was conducted in December 2021 and the designed finished in March 2022. The Legendary housing project will be developed in Prachinburi, Thailand later in the year 2022.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: A native mobile application supports iOS and Android. Its low-fidelity prototype developed using Figma as a clickable prototype for design validation. After validated, it has been improved to deliver the more desire user experience. High-fidelity prototype with the perfect UI is then developed using Adobe XD to have a design system for easy bridging between app designer and developers as well as ensuring the consistency in every element. The final design is also tested again to ensure it reaches the W3C standard of accessibility and then continue with the product development process.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: It is E2E smart living management platform, which collect and store the usage data for performing descriptive, diagnostic, predictive and finally prescriptive analytics to provide the better living experience to the home owners not only to manage their home, but also buy, sell, rent and share their spaces for the future collaborative and share resources to reach the sustainability of the world. The data privacy and security are in consideration when the application is designed, data architecture, data lake, data warehouse are also designed and developed to comply and support the changing laws and regulations for the future.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Qualitative research with focus group and in-depth interview was conducted to empathize and define pain-points of the potential customers who are looking to buy houses in Prachinburi, Thailand within the next 2 years as well as the project developers. For the house buyers, the research aimed to understand their behaviors and identify what they are looking for when they are buying new houses - smart living, IOT, control and management as well as sustainability consideration too. Results showed that the target customers are concerned about sustainability and the integration of smart things. They would prefer the housing project with single management application that allows them to connect, control and collaborate with their mobiles. For the housing project developers, the research aims to understand how they interact with their buyers and visitors, their pain-points of connecting with their customers and visitors as well as features and functions needed to deliver smart, secure and sustain living experience. The results showed that the developers have foreseen increased in demand for sustainability projects and willing to invest in application development that will allow them to collect their customer data so that they could start with digitization, digitalization and then transformation to create new business models that integrate with the application and play their part to sustainability development.
CHALLENGE: The challenges are bridging the digital and physical data together and allowing distinct groups of users to connect, control, and collaborate with each other. Especially when smart things are made by different companies and distinct technologies, information architecture are the also the challenge in delivering the best user interaction and interface design that conveys the greatest smart, secure yet sustain living experience all in one hand.
