| DESIGN NAME: Katalon Ho Chi Minh PRIMARY FUNCTION: Office INSPIRATION: Learning about the mission and vision of Katalon, ADP-architects propose the "Tech Launch" concept for the new office of Katalon, the global software company, as it aimed to support businesses build better software through practical, cohesive, and innovative test tools. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The new office address the unique collaborations among employees, support the interaction across all departments and foster a sense of community and connectivity for Katalon. Cultivating the agile working to support hybrid work, the new office update the latest workplace trend to increase productivity as well as optimize the area with flexible floor plan and furniture to easily modify based on the occupants' need. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The workspace of Katalon is divided into the external zone and internal workstation. The external parts including the reception area and multifunctional zones embrace a modern, impressive and high-tech look following the "Tech Launch" idea to encourage pride and brand recognition by creating branded visual elements throughout the space. While also embracing the brand images, the working station is more energetic with diverse work settings and colorful design, posters that inspire Katalon's employees and boost creativity. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: To create a high-tech look for the Katalon office, ADP prioritized to use glass and steel combined with the industrial design language SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The office area is 923 sqm. TAGS: Collaboration, Innovative, agile working, Office interior, workplace RESEARCH ABSTRACT: A thorough discovery process helped us meet DNB’s strategic objectives by engaging in interviews, utilisation studies, surveys, and social network analysis. This helped identify common collaborators among teams, how teams operated and what behaviors should be nurtured. CHALLENGE: The office space of Katalon is separated into 2 parts due to the elevator corridor. The challenge is how to create a united workspace to connect staff. The solution is to design a big multifunctional space to support employees' discussion/ relaxation and organize big events to strengthen the company culture. The other part serves as the workstation where staff fulfills their tasks with a variety of facilities, tools and equipment.
