| DESIGN NAME: Temptress Moon PRIMARY FUNCTION: Music Video INSPIRATION: The video was inspired by the depressing situation of our world faced throughout these years. In the face of such daunting atmosphere, for example the Covid-19 pandemic, the climate emergency, the struggle between political stands, humanitarian crises, people are tired and felt dejected. Uplifting animation may help sending out positive energy to the audience. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The music video is for delivering the message of the song, which is about how people react when facing difficult time. When the world is in turbulent chaos, people of different shapes connect each other to gain power and joyfulness. And hence, people are rejuvenated and gain back strength to fight against difficulties and enjoy themselves in the harsh time. To get a balance in life. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The video was made in uplifting tone and hence aimed to rejuvenate people who facing difficult times. People could get the positive vibe when watching the video. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in Feb 2022 and finished in March 2022. The video launched on youtube and TV stations on 14 March 2022. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Adobe After Effects Photoshop SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 25 fps, 1920 x 1080 dpi TAGS: illustration, animation, joyfulness, chaos, catastrophe RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The animation was created by Aftereffects. 3D layers and the plugin "Trapcode" in Aftereffects were used to give more sense of space. It is quite a challenge to do similar effects without using 3D softwares. CHALLENGE: In the music video, raw and bold textures were used to get the feeling of harsh time. Positive energy represented by strong and bright color. People of different shapes danced and connected.
