DESIGN NAME: Yi Hao Jiang Xiang
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Liquor Packaging
INSPIRATION: During the Dragon Boat Festival, every Chinese family will hold some grand activities to make some delicious dishes, which is also the brewing period of Chinese liquor. The inspiration of design comes from every detail of the Dragon Boat Festival.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This is a Chinese Jiang-liquor packaging. Most of the Chinese Jiang-liquor is produced along the Chishui River in Maotai Town, China. In the production process, the "ZHI QU" process is a very important link during the Dragon Boat Festival. Therefore, the visual image of our whole package adopts the composition form of landscape painting to depict the customs along the Chishui River, the wine making technology of Jiang-liquor, and the humanistic customs of the Dragon Boat Festival.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: They use wisdom and creativity to integrate the elements of Dragon Boat Festival into the design. The simple outer box is colorful after opening. The festive Dragon Boat Festival illustration elements form a strong visual contrast, making people feel more festive.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project starts in January 2018 and ends in April 2018.Design completed in Changsha,Hunan,proofing in Shenzhen,production in Zhun Yi.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: On the packaging box, we try our best to simplify the process and use the hot pressing process. In terms of structure, we use the form of scroll to make consumers feel like opening the picture scroll. On the bottle, we adopt the segmented design, which has caused some trouble in production, but we still overcome these troubles.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The exhibition of traditional Chinese elements is accompanied by the dissemination of culture. The design with the characteristics of traditional Chinese festivals is used for cultural output.Modern culture and traditional culture are integrated and innovated to a large extent.The adoption of elements to reflect originality and traditionalism is a common concept, which will attract the attention of consumers,arouse the new trend of traditional culture and enhance cultural identity Sense.
CHALLENGE: The technology needed in this case is not easy to implement because it is time consuming and laborious.But we have to admit that compared with other common graphic design,it is a better display technology.However,when it comes to mass production, they need to compromise.
