INSPIRATION: The designer is inspired by understanding the business logic for this project.
The service provided is to customize the furniture for the user. After customers select furniture styles, materials, and accessories from samples, the merchants will produce them.
For this business model, a professional, efficient, and pragmatic brand image is the key to winning the trust. Thus, the designer abandoned almost all space modelling for this case and focus on product displaying and detail present.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: It is an interior design case for a furniture retail store. There are two floors with an area of 1,000 square meters.
The designer adheres to the principles of pragmatism and completes the space design based on the product sales process, customer psychology, and product display needs.
The designer abandoned all spatial modelling design while focusing on product display and detail presentation to create a professional, efficient, and pragmatic brand image.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Technical details of displayed goods are decisive for customers to measure product quality. The designer has arranged sufficient detailed display areas in each section, presenting the surface materials, components, accessories, and internal structure of furniture in an integrated manner.
The designer has configured an intelligent variable light system with no dominant light. Different materials of wood, glass, stainless steel and ambient light are considered. Ensure the best display effect.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: There are two floors.
In stores line design on the first floor, the designer takes wine cabinet, cabinet, wardrobe, etc., as partitions to decorate the display area. Customers get to browse all kinds of finished furniture by category.
The sample selection, design, negotiation, etc., are settled on the second floor. Sales service mainly occurs on this floor. The two floors combine to cover all functional aspects of sample display, component display, design service, and contract signing.

CHALLENGE: The designer helps customers to make the purchase decision by highlighting the characteristics of the product, which helps the client to realize sales performance quickly.
There is a 10-meter-long corridor at the entrance. After entering the main body of the space, a large display cabinet of 140 square meters is set along the wall. The change of the space volume forms a strong visual impact, which is impressive. The advantage of the product gets fully presented through carefully setting for lighting and staging.
