| DESIGN NAME: Asana Guide Line Apparel PRIMARY FUNCTION: Posture Aligner INSPIRATION: Yoga changes lives, and if it changes enough lives, it changes the world.This is what we are passionate about. This is why we do what we do.We believe in going out and Doing Things. Moving our bodies to be healthy. We need our bodie in our side, moving the sensation and feelings. doing our practice with elements, we thought it was a good idea include it in the clothes. We chose old school classic apparel in organic cotton fabrics to support the grip. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This collection is focused on yoga practices, destined to ease the grip in yoga postures. It features a sweatshirt, pants, harem pants and a top, and includes internal grip strings acting as the axis during postures providing safety and transitioning into mindful breathing. TANK TOP, to facilitate stretching asanas for triceps and shoulders. SWEATSHIRT, facilitates the opening of the front and back of the chest with an adjustable guide. GAUCHO PANT with a guide in the center, help in the benefits of the butterfly pose. ELEPHANT PANT with grips in the hem, ensuring an extreme leg stretch. - Tank top, to facilitate Gomukhasana posture, stretching asanas for triceps, shoulders - The sweatshirt, facilitates the opening of the front and back of the chest in the warrior postures Trikonasana with an adjustable guide. - Gaucho Pant with a guide in the center, in order to organice the clothes and help in the benefits of the butterfly pose or baddha konasana. - Elephant pants with a grip in the hem, ensuring an extreme leg stretch OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Looking for compostable textiles and circular production. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: We provide confort and support for the yoga asanas through guides including in the yoga clothes. Introducing the grip in a selected clothes, modifying the pattern. Knitted organic cotton fabrics, produced in Argentina ( Chaco) SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Pattern design for the organic cotton guides to pass. soft to touch but firm to use. NAME: FFOCCO PROFILE: Originally from Buenos Aires ( Argentina), Florencia Fiocca studied Fashion and Textile Design in UBA, Universidad de Buenos Aires. After graduating, Florencia moved to Madrid to design shoes for YANkO, she collaborated with diferents desing like Devota & Lomba and Sybilla, as well as designing the costumes of NATIONAL BALLET in Spain. With a particular passion for the minimalist structures, changing forms, intersecting layers, moving dynamics and pattern innovation., she return to BUENOS AIRES and founding FFIOCCA in 2002, a brand that I used to sell in markets like US, Canada, London, Japan y China. In 2010 she trained as a yoga teacher and in 2015 founded FFOCCO, Calm wear for an active lifestyle. Besides doing design consultancies for brands womenswear for a major fashion house. I am the founder of FFOCCO, a sustainable yoga clothing and elements company based in Argentina. With the launch of a new collection, showing FFOCCO to this competition. hoping to expand my company around the globe. FFOCCO is calming gear for the urban lifestyle. Clean designs drape the yoga practitioner in gentle textures for intentional well-being inside and out. "Ropa calma" positions the clothing line as a retreat for body and mind. Designed in clean shapes, curves and counter-curves, reinforcement bases, many prints with manualy cut and textile machine experiences. Made in natural fibers ( best quality cotton from Peru and Brasil, linen) and high technology textile materials to accompany flexibility and stretching movements. Net color and the combination of textures in neutral colors. Concepts such as “Zero waste”, “Reuse” and “Recycling” they are present is our making athletic wear for the Eco-conscious, we make compost-textile to make our yoga elements, rugs and bolsters. |
