PRIMARY FUNCTION: Luxury Car Showroom
INSPIRATION: The project is a masterpiece that salutes fine craftsmanship and pays tribute to world-class heritage, an homage to intricate details that have defined automotive design throughout the years. It is that type of showrooms that amazes you with an extraordinary display stations and yet, a lot more to see.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Emirati One is a luxury car showroom & museum that showcases rare, special and one of a kind vehicles that need no description to amaze potential owners.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Regardless of the project main function of showing top luxurious cars strictly chosen in the showroom, it is an interactive hub itself in result of its special location and surrounding environment in downtown. You are always able to enjoy the delicious coffee served in the barista lounge in the ground floor while watching the view of Burj Khalifa as well as amusing yourself by watching a collection of the rarest cars worldwide all in one room.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The design and concepts are created in April 2021 in Dubai. Execution is currently in progress. The showroom is located in Burj Vista tower, in a strategic location on the Boulevard, facing Burj Khalifa in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The entrance is chosen on the axe facing Burj Khalifa.
VIP offices designed in the mezzanine floor, lounges overlooking the ground floor. Glass used for partitions allowing natural light to get in.
White Korean material on main entrance, and grey concrete flooring give a nice first impression. Sahara Noir marble is used for floors and some office walls.
3D mosaic on the walls in areas that accommodate the desks.
LED strips installed on the floor, separate showroom pedestrian paths and cars displays.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The showroom is a total of 997 sqm divided into 2 floors. 654 sqm for the ground floor and 343 sqm for the mezzanine floor.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Project research phase was practical and theoretical at the same time where the team intended to visit few car showrooms existing in Dubai and some art galleries as well to check the standards all showrooms designs depend on, as well as car specialized galleries techniques.
Most researches that has been done in order to help the project grow, were about functional use and psychological effects on visitors like one very helpful research: Human Visual Quality: Art Gallery Exhibition for Mohamad Hanif Abdul Wahab and Alia Fatin Ahmad Zuhardi, Procedia, Social and Behavioral Sciences.
CHALLENGE: The showroom is part of a curvy tower with irregular plan shape and Dubai regulations forbid changes to the tower exteriors.
We tried to lose the irregularity by keeping focus on the central part of the showroom and overcame this obstacle by using exterior sizes for cars distribution where each window accommodates one car.
The client has many cars to be displayed which was impossible in the beginning, but we found the perfect distribution while making sure all cars are visible from all sides.
