| DESIGN NAME: Seven Days and Nights Love is Daylight PRIMARY FUNCTION: Book INSPIRATION: This Oriental Pride and Prejudice, the initial inspiration for the design comes from the artistic tone of Mucha’s work about young girls and candy. The lead designer, Zhiyou Tian, through the layers of analysis of the content philosophy, the mystery and sacredness of love that contains time and time, through the series of numbers, the rainbow of the sun, moon and stars, light to form a unique design logic and rhinoceros style. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: A graphic novel of international business and romance, a new art classic with a gorgeous style and dense philosophical thoughts. The whole work of vivid vitality and design of the aesthetic interlocking, the plot tumbles story into the picture, gorgeous color relaxation, light and shadow light delicate and dynamic, reading more visual impact and sensory temperature. The designer carefully refines the core characters, scenes, dramatic conflicts, images, etc. Each illustration is designed with rhythm from still frame to microscopic color. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Special design of 360 degree book pages, when the pages quickly turned forward scene of daylight rising can be seen. By turning back, the fall of moonlight is showed. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project was designed and producted from March 2021 to October 2021, Beijing, China. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The fluorescent acrylic book box echoes matches well with the fluorescent colors inside the book. Seven kinds of paper are used in the book, corresponding to the scene of the seven days, echoing the title of the book. The change of paper brings the subtle difference of touch and light and shade, making the reading rhythm well-arranged. The pages of 360 - degree graduation design, the circumference of the once, let the book form page and on the right side and up and down, left a beautiful arc book traces. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Book box: modern fluorescent acrylic book box with text laser engraving technique. Cover: wear-resistant soft feeling washed kraft paper, orange and silver two-color printing, matching gold & silver stamping transparent, pressed concave. Specifications: 185*260*26mm international format TAGS: Novel, Philosophic, Modern, Eastern, Layouts, Book RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Seven groups of punctuation and fine line digital code, as well as light and shade changes within the text of the single and double column mixed way, with a single line tracing treatment to the key text and dialogue of the passage. Seven kinds of paper are used in the book, corresponding to the scene of the seven days. Tactile distinctive light and shadow light and dark rhythm subtle, making the book a rich and varied reading perception. At the end of the book, with strict text labeling and graphic index information, with extremely meticulous notes and minimalist design. CHALLENGE: Different thickness of the set of post to ensure a high degree of unity of the book margins, taking into account the different characteristics of the paper double-sided subtle changes.
