INSPIRATION: Cooler Master is a technology company delivering PC cooling solutions and hardware accessories. The overall design concept follows the "maker spirit" of Cooler Master, emphasizing the harmony of technology and craftsmanship. The brand's vision on products and services is translated into a design language that has a clear and flexible, ushering in a modern working environment that integrates geometric volumes, nature, natural light, and shadows.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The linear lighting in the atrium delineates the staircase structure which changes in height and distance to enhance a unique visual experience. The smart lighting offers ilumination while contributing to energy saving.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The grid wall structure and the customized mobile display furniture system meet various display needs. The multi-functional area is equipped with a movable cubicle system to maximize the utilization of the limited space.
The internal office space creates a collaborative, efficient and open working environment. The design fully utilizes the optimal daylighting conditions for the open office space, which responds to the company's core values of caring about the staff's particular mood and needs.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: In the lobby, the ceiling is finished with a high-performance soft-shell sound-absorbing system from Kvadrat, which creates museum-quality acoustics in the space.
The three skylights in the atrium created by the architect are molded in GRG on site, which generate varying light and shadow effects in the interior.
In the open office area, the double-layer track lighting system not only meets the current lighting demands but also provides flexibility for any future adjustment.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Through the systematic integration of multi-dimensional factors, the design team interpreted the "maker spirit" advocated by Cooler Master into a spatial medium for expressing values, realizing experiences, and a working environment that promotes greater inclusiveness and vitality with a sense of rationality and sensibility.
CHALLENGE: The form of the ceiling in the elevator hall posed a challenge, as it needed to meet the emergency escape requirements stipulated by elevator association, and meanwhile to realize the infinitely reflective visual effects outlined in the design scheme.
The project was executed in the post-pandemic era, which brought a great challenge to site management, construction schedule and personnel safety.
