DESIGN NAME: Crafty Art
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residence
INSPIRATION: The sociable client often entertains guests at home. To meet the needs of the client, the designer took the living room in the public domain as the core, combining the profound aesthetic knowledge with the neo-classical art style while reflecting on the aesthetic values of the Baroque and Rococo styles, absorbing the essence from art masters. The designer's ingenuity extends the vision of the living room outward, creating a sense of luxury and hospitality while portraying a structure of pragmatism and lavish aesthetics, shaping the noble and elegant atmosphere in the space.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: In the living room area, the designer uses jade to create the TV wall to show the grandeur of the public domain. Through the change of light, shadow, and angle, the jade will produce a different luster and echo the image of the fireplace. In the study room, the bookcase is made of acrylic and presented with latches so it can be adjusted according to the client's needs. Meanwhile, the abstract art backsplash on the side perfectly complements the client's artistic and literary temperament.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The space is designed with practical and restrained luxury as the primary style, aiming to create a home that combines comfort and functionality with a neo-classical and modern aesthetic. The designer created a spacious public space, a children room, and a maid's room based on the layout and the needs of the client. In addition, the client, who needs catering, has closed off the public area with an enclosed kitchen, providing a comfortable space for the guests. The designer thoughtfulness in this project was not only to create a perfect home but also to satisfy the client's daily needs.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The designer strikes a balance between classical sophistication and modern streamlining, appropriately pursuing a sense of elegance and luxury in the space, also giving the entire house a different storyline. The floor of the entrance is paved with marble to show elegance, and the geometric shapes made of copper pieces are used to present the hospitality. In addition, the designer uses beveled wood flooring in the living room and bedroom to show the three-dimensional texture. The flooring in the study room is designed with special hexagonal parquet, which creates a unique texture and atmosphere.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The space is 158 square meters with 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a living room, and a dining room. The hospitable client wanted to present a gallery-like sense of simplicity and sophistication in a modern luxury style full of artistic images while highlighting the unique atmosphere of the space and creating an aesthetic with ingenuity. Therefore, the designer started from the display, fabric, lighting, etc., using the combination of materials with a variety of flexible and profound artistic skills to create a different and modern luxury style with function and aesthetics.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: This project is a modern and neo-classical style, focusing on the living room in the public domain. The designer responds to the needs of the hospitable client and uses different materials, patterns, ambiance, linear and circular designs, pure white, olive green, and gold elements to create a story-like design. The design of the public area not only enlarges the space but also provides a comfortable atmosphere for guests invited by the client to enjoy. Further, each area of this project has a different story in the design, so each space is full of surprise, elegance, comfort, and functionality.
CHALLENGE: The hospitable client wanted to make the most efficient use of the space because of the need to entertain guests. After evaluation and consideration, the designer reorganized the piping and raised the ceiling to give the space a magnified visual effect through exquisite and excellent design techniques. In the living room and dining room of the public area, the designer used a rounded expression on the ceiling to give it an upward visual.
