RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Soaking in a hot spring warms the body and expands blood vessels, especially peripheral blood vessels. When blood vessels expand, blood circulation improves, which makes it easier for fresh blood containing oxygen and nutrients to spread throughout the body, activating the function of carrying waste products and carbon dioxide in the blood. In other words, it improves metabolism and promotes the excretion of unnecessary substances in the body.
CHALLENGE: It was a renovation of an old main building over 80 years old, so it was a challenge to a new design while maintaining the structure.
Also, the materials used for finishing were Japanese paper, wood, and stone, which are natural materials, so I asked each craftsman.
