| DESIGN NAME: Guomaofu PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential Demonstration INSPIRATION: The core idea of creating scenery in Guomaofu is to create a poetic and picturesque space, which injects a brand-new oriental style into the design and spreads the context of Chinese traditional aesthetics. Combine the natural landscape of famous mountains and rivers with the imperial palace with strict etiquette. Shows the cultural pursuit of modern Chinese residents who are "the great scenes are speechless and inconspicuous". UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Guomaofu not only has a profound cultural origin of royal garden, but also has a unique concept of modern landscape. It not only inherits the elegant and natural taste of Jiangnan gardens, but also highlights the axis, emphasizes symmetry, focus on the relationship between master and subordinate, and shows the royal garden temperament of magnificence, nobility and elegance. Under the premise of reasonable function and structure, pay attention to the presentation of the four seasons landscape. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The design respect not only historical landscapes, but also humanistic care. With culture as the canvas and design as the pen, Guomaofu combines the new Chinese-style oriental garden landscape of water, stone, forest, pine, book, tea and music to form a unique poetic landscape garden system. Creating a tourist, feasible, hopeful and livable landscape, as if through a thousand years, reproducing the wind of leisurely and natural life. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in April 2020 and finished in October 2020 in Tangshan, Hebei, China. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Two rows of welcome trees in the pool are set up on both sides of the axis road decorated with white marble, with green color, gurgling water and linear streamline space. The road meandering along the water, winding path going far away. Outdoor tables and chairs are set up by the waterside for residents to take a nap. You can also visit the garden along the road, watching the water and enjoying the flowers. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Total area of this project is 7650 square meters including 5050 square meters of landscape. TAGS: Landscape, Residential, Garden, Biophilic RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Considering the overall adoption of the new Chinese style in the Guomaofu, the landscape design extracted a five-fold ritual sequence from the famous royal garden painting "A Wonderland on Fang-hu Island": Washing Dust, Entering Hall, Lake Pavilion, Visiting Garden, and Painting, planning the path home into five spatial levels, layer by layer. The deign creates a poetic and picturesque space with modern aesthetics, and injects a brand-new oriental style into the design. CHALLENGE: The project needs a clear sense of homecoming ritual, and pay attention to privacy and security. Thus, the design integrate humanization, the winding path of natural garden, natural water system, romantic garden into the community life. Learn from the royal gardens of the Ming and Qing dynasties, on the one hand, absorb the natural gardening techniques of Jiangnan gardens, and on the other hand continue to express strict etiquette and noble temperament.
