| DESIGN NAME: GS-S One PRIMARY FUNCTION: Cleaning Robot INSPIRATION: GS S ONE is designed for cleaning large office spaces with complex site layouts and different types of floors. The Covid-19 pandemic has also heightened the hygiene standards of public spaces. The GS S ONE is designed with a compact size and integrates functions of air sterilization and elevator calling, realizing unmanned cleaning, sanitization, sewage dumping and charging across multiple floors. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: GS S ONE is a robot cleaner for large office spaces. It integrates sweeping, scrubbing, mopping and vacuuming. It can perform automatic path planning, elevator calling, and close-to-edge cleaning, and switch between cleaning modes according to the floor type. It scans the cleanliness of the surroundings and performs automatic cleaning under the Auto Spot Cleaning mode. It achieves multi-robot interaction via the Cloud Platform, providing effective unmanned cleaning for large office spaces. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: GS S ONE can identify various floor types by 360-degree visibility, and switch to the suitable cleaning mode accordingly. It is applicable to cleaning under-table areas in office spaces. Besides fixed cleaning plans, it can recognize the surrounding waste and stains and automatically perform cleaning. Lasting 8 hours, it cleans over 500 sqm/h. Paired with the workstation, it can realize multi-robot interaction and coordination via cloud computing, and deliver unmanned, high-efficiency cleaning. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The design and development of the robot cleaner started in April 2021, Beijing. It will be introduced to the Chinese market in December 2022. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The shell of GS S ONE applies injection molding and laser engraving techniques. The shell is made from antimicrobial materials and part of it adopts silver coating technology. The top plate applies black acrylic, and UV coating on its surface to increase the hardness and scratch-resistance. The edge of the bottom case is wrapped by silica gel to protect it upon collision. Large office spaces are characterized by different carpets and tiles, high traffic, complex site layouts and the need for pandemic prevention, which pose higher requirements for cleaning robots. CHALLENGE: GS S ONE boasts an innovative automatic spot cleaning mode, that is to say, it can identify surrounding stains and waste and go for cleaning. Multi-robot interaction and coordination can be realized by cloud computing. With the function of elevator calling and smart obstacle avoidance, the robot provides an all-inclusive cleaning solution for large office space, lowering costs while enhancing productivity of cleaning operations.
