| DESIGN NAME: Haikou Jiangshan Villa PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residence INSPIRATION: The design comprehensively considers the needs of daily life, environment and the characteristics of the architecture itself to integrate space aesthetics and life experience, since the designer believes that space is not only a living place, but also a spiritual place that reflects and responds to true emotional identification. Instead of blindly pursuing superficial glitz, it presents a simple and quiet space temperament that makes residents enjoy an elegant and peaceful mood. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This residence represents a natural lifestyle that integrates cultural heritage and spiritual cultivation. The gentle blend of indoor and outdoor spaces is the main feature. Elegant colors and smooth lines are clearly layered, showing the exquisite design philosophy of function and form. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The overall space is separated from dynamics and statics, and the layout is coherent. Through the conversion of openness and privacy, the visual connection and interaction are maximized, bringing residents a comfortable and interesting indoor and outdoor living experience. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The spatial shape and furniture choices in the interior act in response to the elegant arc shape of the architecture. The ceiling runs through in a curve without any decoration. The black and cool spiral staircase in the middle leads directly to the gallery upstairs, and the sculptural structure brings vitality to the space. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Design area is 1054 square metres. TAGS: natural, artistic, interaction, peaceful, mood, scenery, elegant RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The entrance garden has an L shaped semi enclosed structure, and a pavilion is set at a corner. The open style living areas are functionally coordinated and explicit. The living room and dining room are directly connected to the outside where one can find a long wave swimming pool. Each bedroom has a view overlooking the mountains, with its own garden balcony, which achieves a balance between scale and privacy. The master bedroom has two glass curtain walls, allowing the residents to enjoy the abundant sunlight in Haikou. The arched ceiling shape and the khaki colour combination create a tropical rainforest atmosphere with the wonderful view outside the window. CHALLENGE: The living room is the primary space for leisure and entertainment. The high ceilings, sculptural furniture and accessories, and the dark background wall express the artistic atmosphere to transform the space into the form of an art gallery, bringing uniqueness to the space temperament.
