| DESIGN NAME: Intelligent Innovation PRIMARY FUNCTION: Door INSPIRATION: Home connect has been very popular nowadays. However, the existing entry door cannot meet people's needs. In China, many families will put a shoe cabinet with the functions of disinfection and deodorization outside the door. They will also install a security camera, and put many other intelligent products. However, there is no reserved power interface around the door, making these devices troublesome to manage. Therefore, we integrate and update these products and redefine the entry door. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Featuring intelligence, intelligent doors can make the outdoor space more transparent, and the indoor space more closely to the outdoor’s. In addition to the basic functions such as fingerprint recognition and electronic door viewer, the intelligent door adopts the modular integration design concept. Extended modules and structure interfaces are reserved in the door frame and door body, through which different functional modules can be installed according to the needs. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The door can be unlocked by fingerprint and password. The fingerprint identification module is located at the head of the handle. After successful fingerprint identification, you can hear the tone, and the welcome interface is displayed on the screen to open the door. The door is equipped with an 8.4-inch screen for information display and password input. When the infrared sensor of the door detects someone approaching, the screen outside the door lights up to display the preset screen. User can click the doorbell to call or enter the password input interface. After the password is successfully input, user can hear the prompt sound effect, and the screen displays the welcome interface to open the door and enter. The door is equipped with a 13.3-inch screen, which can display information, and manage the door body and function modules. The functions of the screen in the door include information prompts such as weather and notes, fingerprint entry management, visitor records, operation interface settings, electronic cat's eye settings, function module authentication, settings, power management, etc. The door body can also be interconnected with the mobile phone. By installing the supporting mobile phone app, the door body and expansion equipment can be managed and set uniformly according to the prompts. Quick plug interfaces are reserved between each functional module and the door body for quick plug-in. After the module is connected, it can be used after authentication at the door body or mobile phone end. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The intelligent door innovation design project began in April 2021 and was developed and designed in November 2021 at the Prototype Innovation Factory of Yantai International Design Town, China. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Generally speaking, the intelligent door is an integrated door with modular extended functions through the integrated research and development of quick plug-in interface, information transmission and other technical means. The management of the intelligent door mainly relies on Internet of things, taking home network as the bearing form. It takes home gateway as the core, and relies on a unified management platform and business platform. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The installation size of the door is 2050mm x 960mm, which meets the general size standard and is convenient for replacement and installation. Easy to operate overall. Hence we integrate the functions of peripheral products and carry out unified personalized management of them. We aim to let intelligent door become an important part of people's home life, and bring a safer and more convenient smart connected life experience by connecting with the smart devices used in home life. CHALLENGE: The challenge lies in how to expand more functional modules under the limited space size, change the pattern and structure of traditional home living houses, and create a new experience of Smart Life in the whole new future era brought by the upgrading of smart things and smart houses in the Internet era.
