RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The entire research is integrated around the ancient Egyptian beliefs and about the importance of light and what it represents to the ancient Egyptian. We found the great Hymn of Akhtitatun to Aten that was found in the cemetery in the tombs of Tell El-Amarna, and how Djed hieroglyph was a pillar-like symbol that represented stability. It was also sometimes used to represent Osiris himself.
CHALLENGE: The challenge was to design new lighting products that is shaped to be related to the Ancient Egyptian Civilization and the integration between the cultural design and emotional design.
